This transcription is intended to be a verbatim transcript of October 30, 1883-January 10, 1889 Post Council of Administration Book for the oversight of the Post Trader and Bakery, held by the Fort Hauchuca headquarters and maintained by the Post Adjutant, and handwritten in Spencerian script.

Grammatical errors, mispellings, and other errors were left as is. The only intentional changes were to change ditto marks (") after dates and numbers to the appropriate letter code, as in March 2" becoming March 2nd , or 1" becoming 1st Endorsement. Red lines and red ink were used in place of black as they were used throughout the original book. If notes were needed to correct a name or place or suggest a possible translation of a work, it was placed in brackets [].
