The Joint Operational Support Airlift Center announced the Fiscal year 2012 Flying Unit of the Year Awards. Operational units are recognized for excellent achievement in the areas of aircraft availability, reliability, cooperative practices in all the OSA mission activities. 2012 JOSAC units are: 1st Platoon, B Co., 6th Battalion, 52nd Aviation Regiment, commanded by CPT Mintle and CW4 Harold Haberlin; Detachment 25 (East), Tennessee Army National guard, commanded by CW5 Terry Jones; Detachment 43 (West), Nebraska National Guard, commanded by CW5 Gene Coppersmith; Detachment 52, Wisconsin ARNG, commanded by CW4 Arthur Hebblewhite.
