CPT Andrew Wilson received teh Distinguished Flying Cross and 1LT Edwin Herring was awarded the Purple Heart. CPT Wilson received the award for his response to MEDEVAC missions in support of Task Force Bastogne and Operation Strong Eagle, March 29, 2011. SGT Herring, who served with a sniper platoon, suffered traumatic brain injury from 17 IED attacks during a 3 month period in 2007.
