US Navy is investing in technology upgrades for its MH-60R fleet, incorporating lessons learned from current deployments. Lockheed Martin recently production and development contracts totally $360 million for systems upgrades for both the Romeo and the Sierra, including extensions for cockpits, Situational Awareness Technology Insertion (SATI) system, and an award to transition the Automatic Radar Periscope Detection and Discrimination (ARPDD) system into production.
