Twelve military policemen and two civilians working for the 6th Military Police Detachment and the Provost Marshal's Office at Fort Rucker AL were awarded the St Michael medal. Recipients were: COL Marcus McDougald, SFC Marvin Brandon, CAPT John Breen, Master Sgt Jerry Lucas, SFC Robert Phillips, SFC Jack Sherman, SFC Huber Thornton, SGT Robert Capps, Staff Sgt William Peyregne, 1LT Lenore Kaise-Lopez, SFC John Hendricks Jr, and SGT Veronica Edmison. Civilian recipients were: Sonya Barnes and Retired CSM Michael Whittaker.
