The U.S. Army Air Traffic Control Activity (USAATCA), Fort Rucker, Ala., was designated by Headquarters, Department of the Army (HQDA), to provide intermediate and limited depot-level support for fixed-base air traffic control (ATC) systems throughout the continental United States, Alaska, Hawaii, Japan, and Panama and selected sites in Korea.
