Mortal since the Chaos War but still armed with his mighty strength and mystical weapons, Hercules wanders Brooklyn, looking for a purpose. He enters a fight with a gang called the Warhawks, who turn out to be a war-loving cult led by Ares' son, Kyknos, and, when the Serpent's army brings fear to Brooklyn, Kyknos and the Warhawks try to elminiate Herc, but are taken by surprise when a pantheon of Greek gods join the fight.
