When Marilee Beth decides she needs a few days away, she goes to visit her friend Lucy in the friendly, peaceful Montana town of New Eden. Only when she arrives, Lucy is dead, and the people of New Eden don't seem to care. What's more, someone is opposed to Marilee staying in town to ask questions about it.
