The Lowry family recently moved to a small town and have found themselves 'adopted' by a stray and pregnant golden retriever named Pilot. The family has to give the puppies up for adoption, but Pilot is determined to retrieve her pups. Eventually, the Lowry's take Pilot's lead and embark on a comical adventure to reclaim the puppies; a noble quest that reminds the Lowry's that family always comes first.
