There aren't many things pastry chef Rita Lucero hates more than losing. But two years after separating from Philippe Renier, she's still trying to get him to sign divorce papers. Exasperated, Rita visits his high-end New Orleans shop, Zydeco Cakes, and discovers Philippe dead with a knife in his chest. Overwhelmed, Rita learns that since the divorce wasn't final, she inherits part ownership in Zydeco Cakes. And becomes the prime suspect in Philippe's murder.
