"Little girl lost" : when a skeleton is unearthed in Chicago in 1999, forensic tests indicate that it was the remains of a malnourished child with a broken jaw who had likely been buried in the late 1960s. Dedicated detective work unearthed tales of an "oddball" family that had lived in the area at the time, and investigators eventually tracked down a woman who confessed to the crime, but refused to reveal why she did it.
