Summary Note

In May, 1943, a force of U.S. soldiers fought against 3,000 Japanese who had invaded and occupied the Aleutian Islands during World War II. Sixty years later, Bill Jones and Andy Petrus, part of that U.S. force, return to the Aleutian island of Attu and relive that 19 day battle that the American government kept secret.
