This episode has battlefield detectives examining the battle of Big Hole, Montana. With the memory of Custer's defeat at the Battle of Little Big Horn fresh in their minds, the US 7th Infantry undertook the eviction of Nez Perce Indians in southwest Montana with a mix of vengefulness and fearful caution. Battlefield Detectives look at the early-morning sneak attack which soon saw the attackers under siege.
