In July of 1954, Marilyn Sheppard was found murdered in her home in a quiet Ohio suburb. Marilyn's husband, a prominent doctor, was charged with murder, convicted and sentenced to life in prison. 12 years later the Supreme Court declared the trial a media "carnival" and Dr. Sam Sheppard was acquitted. His son has devoted much of his life to investigating the crime that tore his life apart. Now, thanks to DNA testing, he believes he has found the person responsible.
