The book is rather thin but the information density is high, so accordingly the various topics are covered in a terse to-the-point style. Consider it an overview of EW that will serve well as an agenda for further in-depth research. Though the book was published more than 30 years ago, its information still serves as a useful introduction because it presents a conceptual picture of the EW field, the essentials of which have not changed much since electrons were first harnessed for warfare during WW2. Naturally, however, a prior understanding of the electromagnetic spectrum and wave propagation physics (particularly the inverse-fourth-power law for active systems) will aid comprehension.
