Sŏnu meets Chihŭi on the bus and falls in love at first sight. He is supposed to meet her on Christmas eve, but she becomes a hostage and is killed. Three years later, Sŏnu still blames himself for Chihŭi's death and he goes back to the past to relive 24 hours and finds out who Chihŭi really is and who is his true love--the one who puts a calla lily on his desk every morning.
