The 2007 Proteus Workshop Report provides a detailed discussion of the highlights and proceedings of the workshop held 14-16 August '07 at the Center for Strategic Leadership, USAWC. The event centered on examining future complex security issues through creative and holistic analysis and decisionmaking across the elements of national power (diplomatic, informational, military and economic). The workshop's purpose was to identify relevant work that will assist strategic and high-operational level decision makers, planners, and analysts within the Joint, Interagency, Intergovernmental, and Multinational community in "outside the box" consideration and critical analysis of national, military, and intelligence issues. Representatives from U.S. Government agencies, think tanks, academia, international organizations, and the private sector participated.
