From Preface: FY2007 marks the first operating year for the Joint Munitions and Lethality Life Cycle Management Command (JM&L LCMC). The JM&L LCMC stood up on 30 November 2006 to provide overarching command of the ammunition enterprise that consists of the Program Executive Office for Ammunition (PEO AMMO), the U.S. Army Joint Munitions Command (JMC) and the Armament Research Development and Engineering Center (ARDEC). FY2007 also signifies the Joint Munitions Command's (JMC) first year as an independent major subordinate command of the U.S. Army Materiel Command.
