From the 1973 annual report's Preface: During FY 1973 this command was designated the U.S. Army Strategic Communications Command (USASTRATCOM), hence, that is the term used throughout this annual report. The designation would be changed to the U.S. Army Communications Command (USACC) on 1 October 1973.
