This document details the dissemination of propaganda leaflets. Three types of subject bombs have been developed as a result of theater requirements for propaganda leaflet bombs having good ballistic characteristics and an accurate bursting altitude below 1,500 feet. War Department Technical Bulletin: Preliminary instructions, M26 flare case modified for use as leaflet bomb. Headings include: method of loading the leaflets in propaganda bomb; weights and dimensions; to prepare the leaflet on the field for adapter cluster M-15 and M-16; and loading the bomb (adapter cluster) M-15 or M-16.
