The purpose of the C-B-I Air Service Command is to maintain the maximum possible percentage of aircraft in this theater in readiness for the performance of their missions. The objectives of this paper are to further this mission by: presenting clear definitions of, and delineations between, the functions of the various divisions and sections of the staff; establishing responsibility of the various divisions and sections of the staff to perform certain functions; establishing the fundamental principles by which the staff operates; and establishing the basic requirement for efficient operation.
