The Advance Section Communication Zone is the agency which directly supplies the combat armies. This report deals with certain activities of its Engineer Section. The enclosed situation report of the Engineer Section for 13 September 1944, gives a brief outline of its activities, and the two accompanying maps show progress on the construction of the railroads and pipe lines as of that date.
