The purpose of this document is to survey and analyze intelligence operations of World War II. The thought was that the document would fulfill the needs of the Strategic Intelligence School for a general instructional text and would fulfill the requirement for a comprehensive history of strategic and high-level tactical intelligence organization and operations for general military use. Contents include: over-all Allied Intelligence Program; Military Intelligence Division, WDGS; intelligence and Pearl Harbor; Supreme Headquarters, Allied Expeditionary Force; 12th Army Group; U.S forces in European Theater; Allied Force Headquarters; South Pacific and Southwest Pacific areas; Far East Command - Supreme Commander Allied Powers; Pacific Ocean areas; Southeast Asia Command; and China Theater.
