This is one of a series of studies prepared as first narratives in the over-all history of the AAF. It details the heavy bomber and its influence on transition, transition procedure under the expansion program (1939-1941), WWII and the trend of transition procedure, transition training in the tactical units in World War II, heavy bombardment transition in the training command, medium bombardment transition in the training command, and fighter transition in the training command.
