In this January 2012 interview, MAJ David Ross, US Air Force; discusses his deployments to Iraq in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom (OIF) in 2005 through 2006 and to Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom (OEF) in 2008 through 2009. MAJ Ross starts his interview by discussing his background with the Air Force filling various positions. He talks about his deployment to Korea as a weapons officer for 36th Fighter Squadron from January 2007 through August 2008 and his three-month deployment in support of Operation Southern Watch. He shares his personal deployment experience where he deployed to Joint Base Balad (JBB) working for the 332nd Expeditionary Operations Group as part of 332nd Air Expeditionary Wing as a weapons officer. MAJ Ross closes his interview by stating, "Individual deployments are very difficult, but they're certainly not unmanageable."
