In this interview, MAJ Matt Lillibridge, US Army, Field Artillery; discusses his two deployments to Iraq and one deployment to Afghanistan from 2003 through 2012 in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom (OIF) and Operation Enduring Freedom (OEF). MAJ Lillibridge describes his interaction with the Iraqis on his first and second deployment. He discusses his missions and operations and recalls a few specific memories from each deployment. He notes the differences between both Iraq and Afghanistan and closes his interview by stating, "Knowing the culture going in is the big thing but don't babysit it too much."
