In this interview MAJ John Gervais, US Army Chemical Corps, discusses his deployments to Iraq. MAJ Gervais had the unique experience of deploying shortly after 9/11 and again later on in the war so his experiences are varied and capture interesting aspects of what was happening on the ground in Iraq. MAJ Gervais shares lessons learned, difficult moments, and ways he succeeded on his deployments and after he returned stateside. MAJ Gervais concludes his interview by summing up how interesting it was to re-look his deployment time in this interview.
