MAJ Stephen Suhr served as a Kiowa Warrior pilot in Mosul and Tal Afar, Iraq during 2003 and 2004 and on a counter-improvised explosive device (IED) unit during 2010 and 2011, both in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom (OIF). In this November 2011 interview, MAJ Suhr discusses the role of the Kiowa Warrior, the event in September 2004 when he was shot down, and the personal and leadership challenges he faced on his most recent deployment.
