In this interview, MAJ Veronica Carroll, US Army, Military Intelligence (MI); discusses her deployment to Iraq as the intelligence officer (S2) in 2007 through 2008 in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom (OIF). MAJ Carroll talks about her missions working alongside the Air Force and discusses some difficult challenges with a particular mission that she had to overcome. MAJ Carroll describes communication back home while deployed and closes her interview by stating a lesson learned, "The lesson learned for me is to kind of take a step forward and get the background information on the unit on my own. I think I would have to accept a little additional responsibility in terms of that."
