In this interview, MAJ Jason Burke, US Army, Military Police (MP); discusses his deployment to Iraq as the HHD commander in 2007 through 2008 in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom (OIF). MAJ Burke talks about his family's reaction to his deployment and shares his experience with deploying into Iraq four months behind the unit he took command of. Burke describes the initial change of command and talks about some difficult challenges he overcame during that process. Burke talks about his daily missions and details out a typical day. MAJ Burke closes his interview by stating, "You're always going to have to change based on the job."
