In this interview, MAJ Geovanni Rivera, US Army, Logistics; discusses his deployment to Iraq with the 13th Expeditionary Sustainment Command (ESC) in 2009 through 2010 in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom (OIF). MAJ Rivera compares his one deployment to Afghanistan and three deployments to Iraq. Rivera discusses working alongside the Air Force and describes the challenges he faced in learning to work with them. MAJ Rivera talks about his wife being on deployment the same time he was on deployment and closes his interview by stating, "Before you deploy it's good to understand how your mission is going to be and who you're going to be dealing with."
