In this interview, MAJ Robert Rodock, US Army, Military Police; 1st Maneuver Enhancement Brigade discusses his deployment to Afghanistan as the HHC company commander in 2008 through 2009 in support of Operation Enduring Freedom (OEF). MAJ Rodock discusses a typical day and some of his missions with training the Afghanistan National Police (ANP) and the Afghanistan National Army (ANA). Rodock talks about some difficult challenges he overcame with his training mission and closes his interview by stating, “Understand the culture prior to deployment."
