In this interview, MAJ Timothy Clark, US Army, Human Resources; discusses his 12 month deployment to Iraq as the detachment officer in charge from 2009 through 2010 in support of Operation Enduring Freedom (OEF). MAJ Clark discusses his reaction to hearing about the 9/11 attacks while on deployment to Bosnia. MAJ Clark shares his responsibilities in Camp Arifjian and at New Kabul Compound (NKC). MAJ Clark describes a typical day in country and some difficult challenges he overcame with establishing a daily routine. MAJ Clark talks about communication back home and closes his interview by stating, “Everything that you do is value added.”
