In this interview, MAJ Kay Wakatake, US Army, JAG; discusses her deployment to Iraq as the Brigade Judge Advocate in 2010 in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom (OIF) and Operation New Dawn. MAJ Wakatake describes role as the Brigade Judge Advocate and how she was able to implement new plans in preparation for the draw down. MAJ Wakatake talks about some difficult challenges she overcame and closes her interview by stating, “Stay current and expect changes when deployed.”
