MAJ Wilfredo Franceschini served as battalion and brigade assistant intelligence officer (S2) and Headquarters and Headquarters Company executive officer (XO) in Bashur, Irbil and Kirkuk, Iraq during 2003 and 2004, as assistant battalion S2 in eastern Baghdad during 2005 and 2006 in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom (OIF), and as military intelligence company commander out of Regional Command - East (RC East) during 2008 and 2009 in support of Operation Enduring Freedom (OEF).
