In this February 2011 interview MAJ Lauren Miller, Military Intelligence (MI), discusses her 2005 deployment to Iraq as the intel officer for an Army Space Support Team (ARSST). A relatively new concept for the Army, MAJ Miller discusses challenges she experienced while in Iraq as her and her team tried to spread available capabilities the ARSST could offer divisions across the country. MAJ Miller describes a typical day, some interesting interaction she had with Coalition partners, and some specific memories she has from her deployment. MAJ Miller concludes her interviewing by discussing one of the biggest challenges facing the intel community today.
