MAJ Andrell Hardy served as the movement control officer (MCO) with the 82nd Airborne Division in Fallujah, Iraq during 2003 and 2004 and in a military transition team (MiTT) in Mosul, Iraq during 2009 and 2010 in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom (OIF). In this November 2010 interview, MAJ Hardy discusses the duties of a division MCO, the chaotic nature of the movement of troops and supplies through Kuwait early in operations in Iraq, and his experiences as a transportation officer on a MiTT with no role for a transportation officer.
