In this interview, MAJ Adalberto “Bertin” Pagan, US Army, Logistics, discusses his deployment to Afghanistan as a battalion S3 in 2008 in support of Operation Enduring Freedom (OEF). MAJ Pagan discusses the interaction he had with the Afghan's and the changes he noticed from being in country. MAJ Pagan explains the handoff process and compares and differentiates all three of his deployments. MAJ Pagan closes his interview by noting the importance of setting up a logistical infrastructure.
