In this interview, LCDR Scott Moseman, US Navy, Intelligence, discusses his deployment to Iraq as an individual augmentee to be an operations officer in 2006 in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom (OIF). LCDR Moseman describes his experience with being a Navy sailor on the ground in Iraq and discusses a few specific incidents with regards to safety concerns. LCDR Moseman shares a specific memory and explains how the Navy enhanced the reintegration process and how it benefited him. LCDR Moseman closes his interview by stating that he didn't personally agree with his mission, however, was proud to serve.
