In this interview MAJ Bonney describes his experiences in support of OIF when he became the rear detachment commander for the 92nd Engineer Battalion. MAJ Bonney discusses challenges he faced during his time as the rear detachment commander and the experiences he had. Following that assignment MAJ Bonney took command of a basic training company out of Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri. MAJ Bonney relates his experiences training young recruits, working with solid drill instructors, and what a positive experience it was. MAJ Bonney concludes his interview by discussing his upcoming tour as a foreign area officer (FAO) in Italy.
