Chief Warrant Officer-5 Robert Ferguson served as chief of the human intelligence analysis cell for 1st Armored Division in Baghdad in 2003 in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom (OIF). In this interview, he talks about manning for the cell, his primary duties, the worsening function of his cell as it became inundated with data, and his lack of support for interrogations by untrained personnel. He closes the interview by discussing his role in the early planning for OIF and their lack of preparedness for the numbers of detainees experienced.
