Part two of the interview with Major Wesley Wright covers his August to December 2003 deployment in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom as the supply company commander in the 82nd Forward Support Battalion, 505th Parachute Infantry Regiment, of the 82nd Airborne Division. Wright begins by discussing initially being under the 1st Armored Division in Baghdad, their relief in place with 3rd Squadron, 3rd Armored Cavalry Regiment at a Mujahideen-e-Khalq compound outside of Fallujah they called FOB St. Mere, and then covers a variety of issues related to logistics, convoys, the up-armoring of vehicles, ammunition and fuel. He also contrasts his OIF deployment with his previous one to Afghanistan and details a number of important lessons learned on the quartermaster side of the house.
