This paper will attempt to address the ethical dilemma that leaders will face when, uncharacteristically, they fail to maintain ethical standards due to apparent bias or conflict of interest. It will also address what followers expect of Leadership and what the American people expect of their military Leaders. This paper will analyze the Army Values through the truth and reality of deeds and actions. Leaders' conduct, leading by example, and the motivation of Soldiers will be examined. Additionally, the continuous pursuit of superior Leadership and followership-development will be discussed.
