The moral difficulties that a Soldier in the Armed Forces will come across when combating extremism are abundant and challenging. The U.S forces face moral and unethical judgment calls every day in the fight against worldwide terrorist organizations. The U.S. is in combat with a hostile adversary with no ethics, values or uniforms. The U.S. government and armed forces aggressively opposes these hiatuses in morals every time they ascend, and maintains emphasis on Army doctrine and ideals of the nation to counteract terrorism. During the current fight against terrorism over the past ten years the U.S. Government and the Armed Forces placed our national values in question in the eyes of the people when issues like collateral damage, torture, and the implementation of Law of War fails to be enforced.
