This paper addresses some of the challenges the Army has experienced due to the lack of intelligence in major conflicts, such as the Revolutionary War, Civil War, World War I, and World War II. The underdeveloped military forces in history lacked the means to train and fund development of intelligence gathering system. Educating the forces on new equipment and resources brought about positive change in the military, making the United States Military one of the proficient, skilled, and rapid deploying forces in the world.
