In April, 2008 the 1-134 TH FA RGT took over the mission of the SECFOR South under the command of the Area Support Group Kuwait. The battalion performed the SECFOR operations at the Kuwait Naval Base, Sea Port of Debarkation (SPOD) and the Area Reaction Force for the Southern half of Kuwait. During this time our battalion took on the important mission of leading most of the host nation relations events in the ASG-KU area.
