This paper describes my personal experience while deployed to Guantanamo Bay, Cuba (GTMO). Due to my assigned duties there as the NCOIC, I did not have many opportunities to come in contact with the "stars" of the island. However I physically worked within Camp Delta where the detainees were held and even had opportunities to speak with some of them. I will discuss my personal experience in both working with military personnel and civilian contractors as well as my limited contacts with the detainees.
