This paper covers various experiences lived by SGM James A. (Andy) Bolt, NCOIC of Embedded Tactical Training Team (En) 8659. This ETT was made up of 16 Infantry and Armor Branch Soldiers that were tasked with organizing, equipping, training and advising the first Operational Afghan National Civil Order Police (ANCOP) Battalion in Southern Afghanistan. Once trained this Indigenous Afghan (Special Police) Battalion it operated very successfully against Taliban Forces in the 205th Corps area. This Corps area comprised Kandahar, Helmand, Zabul and Uruzgan Provinces. All located along Afghanistan's Southern border with Pakistan.
