This personal experience paper does not cover one isolated event but my career experience as a whole. The personal experiences that I have had over the last 28 years have helped shape and mold my leadership philosophy and how I conduct myself dealing with subordinates and peers. The invaluable experiences I have had with multiple forms of service; in and out of traditional M-Day national guard service, regular army active duty service and combat service; have assisted me in dealing with the various types of members that I come in contact with daily being a Senior Recruiting and Retention NCO. The impact of two leaders that trained and put me on the path of leadership helped instill in me the desire to motivate and inspire another generation of young soldiers to one day take my place.
