As we look back in history NCO training lacked the emphasis required to effectively train leaders for combat. The Army has realized that mistake, and has placed a lot of emphasis on ensuring we have a quality and professionally trained NCO. As we learn lessons in combat, the modem day NCOES system can only get better. Transition is occurring all over the Army and as the Army transforms the way it does things the NCO Corp must evolve with it.
